Pop star Katy Perry - who wears 16 different outfits on her latest tour - has said she hates the constant costume changes.
The 26-year-old admitted the constant changing on her California Dreams tour is far from glamorous.
According to Australian newspaper the Sunday Herald Sun, Perry said: "There's a bar in my quick-change area that I just hang on to and they are ripping s*** off me, screaming and swearing, betting my side will be caught in my zipper.
"My knees are messed up with scars and bruises, so I am wearing very thick granny stockings to hide all that."
The wife of Brit funnyman Russell Brand added: "There are jabs from safety pins. And certainly there's not a lot of room for modesty when the dressers are clawing at you and watching the clock to the split second I have to go back on.
"I've seen cooking shows when they are trussing up a turkey and that's what I feel like - strings and bows and stitching up.
"The road envelopes your body and makes you look like a soldier of sorts - a soldier of the road."
